2008 Spring Band Concert
The PHS Band will be giving its spring concert this Thursday evening, May 8th, at 7 pm in the PHS Auditorium.

Senior Picture Request
Dear Senior parents,
Please send two pictures of your senior student (one baby or toddler pictrue and one current one) to Janice Ramsey for the band banquet.
Scan and email the pictures to cramsey124@comcast.net or put them in an envelope and have your student give them to Mr. Milligan by Wednesday, preferably, but no later than Thursday.

Jazz Band Concert Note Correction
Powell Band supporters;
Your web guy made a mistake in the previous entry saying that "dinner and drinks" would be provided at the Jazz Band Concert. This should be "dessert and drinks" will be provided as a part of the $5 entry fee. The rest of the note was correct as was the listing in Current Events.
Sincere apologies for any confusion this has caused.
Jazz Band Concert
What: The outstanding PHS Jazz Band will be in concert
When: This Friday, April 18, 2008
Where: In the Youth Center of First Baptist Church of Powell
Cost: $5 per person
What else? Dessert and drinks will be provided. Arrive early to get a good seat!!
Parade Update and Other Notes
Due to the impending stormy weather, the Dogwood Arts Festival has rescheduled the parade to Friday April 25th at 7 pm. Thus, the band will march two weeks from tonight.
The PHS Jazz Band will perform next Friday night (April 18th) in the Youth Sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Powell. More information to follow.
The next Band Booster meeting will be held Thursday April 24th at 6:30pm in the band room.
