Feb. 18-19:  All County Honors Band at Hardin Valley Academy (perm slips in by Tue, Feb. 16!)

March 20 - WinterGuard Competition at West HS

Oct. 23:  PHS @ Central  (perform on WBIR news after game)

Oct. 24:  ACT for Seniors (at PHS) - 8 AM

Oct. 24:  Competition at South-Doyle HS

Oct. 26 - 30th:  Fruit Sale orders and money due to band room THIS WEEK (no sooner)!

Nov. 7th:  End of Marching Season Party from 4 till 7 PM

Nov. 25 (Wed):  Fantasy of Trees parade (Those who are participating will need to be in the band room by 5 p.m. to dress and load.  We will leave at 5:30 p.m. in order to be at the loading dock by 6 p.m.  Performance is at 7 p.m.

Dec. 5 (Sat): Powell Christmas Parade.  Students need to be dressed and ready at Food City at 4:15 p.m.  The band room will be open, so students need to give themselves enough time to dress and grab all of their equipment at PHS before being at Food City by 4:15 p.m.

Dec. 8 (Tue):  Fruit Committee meets with JoAnn Rudy at 6 PM in band room to discuss delivery.

Dec. 8 (Tue):  Christmas Concert at PHS.  Students need to be in their seats and ready to warm up at 6:30 p.m.  Attire should be nice dress clothes: NO JEANS.  The concert will start at 7:30 pm (note time change!)

Dec. 11:  LifeTouch at school to take composite pictures.  See Mrs. Robinson for more info.

Dec. 14:  FRUIT DELIVERY - Make plans to pick up your fruit TODAY after school between 3rd period (kids will call you when it's ready for pickup) and 8:00 pm.  We need to borrow old tarps to lay on the floor under the pallets - if you have one or more we can use, please contact Betsi Vesser 938-2161 or betsiv@comcast.net.

IMPORTANT  INFORMATION

1ST ANNUAL BIKE RUN


to benefit the PHS Band 

Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

at Knoxville Harley Davidson on Clinton Highway.

Cost is $20.00 single rider and $30.00 double rider which includes

the bike run, lunch and a chance at winning some fabulous door prizes!

All money raised will be used for the purchase of

new drums for marching season.

Parent volunteers are needed to help the day of the ride (serving or preparing food, selling t-shirts, cleaning up).
